Excalibur: the legendary sword of King Arthur - Paperknife

Bright Pewter paperknike, shaped as Excalibur, the legendary sword of King Arthur.

Its name means "capable of cutting steel". In the first translations it appears also as Caliburn, while its original Celtic name is Caledfwlch.

The sword, whixh was forged on the legenday isle of Avalon, represents the symbol of the "Invincibility of Moral Forces". King Arthur raccepted it from Nimüe, the Lady of the Lake, on the condition that when his life neared its end, he should return the sword to her. 

At the battle of Camlann, in 573 AD King Arthur was mortally wounded and entrusted Excalibur to Sir Belvedere, to return it to the Lake, where it still lives, waiting to emerge anew.
